Mesh exported with messy geometry

I imported an FBX in 3D Coat for some basic painting.

Here's the original model in Blender

Everything looks fine. I can paint on the mesh without any issue, same for generating the AO, and the curvature maps.

This is how it looks in 3D Coat

When I finally export back the FBX, this is what happens:

Any thoughts?
