How to work with Retopo objects/layers?

Is there any example scripts that deal with retopo objects? I went through the documentation and couldn't quite figure out how to access these objects.For example how to add mesh to retopo scene as new layer etc.

In the 2023.41 there will be rich Retopo/Modeling Python/Core API support.

Nice that's fantastic. I managed to workaround retopo stuffs with ui commands but it's definitely not pretty. That's gonna help a lot.
