Merge object Nightmare

Hi Andrew I get this problem with one of my models

I paint most of my model and I notice I make a mistake with the pants UV

So I erase the material of the pants ( That also delete the model no?)

I fix my uv map in blender and export only the pants.

Then I use merge Object and everything seems to be normal and perfect , I texture the pants and save my model

and then I all most cry wen I open my file and see the model.

The Uv of the pants merge with the face and the pants looks invisible.

That was on 3dcoat 3.00.08C

I reproduced problem with

merge cube

merge sphere

delete cube

merge cube

save

exit

open

only cube visible...

I test this new Update an is Working perfect, No problems With Merge Object.
