Hi,

a request on the painter, it would be ..to be able to use the FILL tool on the 3d view taking into account the UV cuts.

Which only works in the texture editor.

best regards

Giovanni

Added to wish list for developers. But it is not clear when it will be implemented.

Hi, it's been a while! Has this (in my opinion very useful) "FILL to UV in view 3D" feature been considered?

Thx

Giovanni

Hi! The developers are working tirelessly, but they still haven't responded.

You can fill by Surface Material (generally by UV map) from the Tool Options panel, but filling within a UV shell was never designed to work in the 3D Viewport. It makes more sense to use the 2D editor, where the UV shells/islands are more visible and accessible.
