 You don't have mastery of the most basic functions.
The program has very large capabilities and therefore is difficult for beginners.

ive been using the software since v4 released, ive always used the same method for high to low poly baking ... 

the video shows the retopod mesh clearly, then when you bake it makes a second very small mesh?

this has never happened before .

its baking a tiny replicated mesh onto layer 0 , i never use layer 0 i have always hidden that layer as it cant be removed or deleted ..

but for some reason its using the layer?

and i dont even know why a tiny copy of my mesh is there?

it was the "use fixed scene scale" 

it was checked before, so i unchecked it and it works perfectly now, very strange i never checked it but thats what it was , hopefully if anyone has the same issue its this , also coming back after a while not using , i remember why i love 3dcoat, there's no restrictions to my creation :D
