3dcoat 2024 25

I've been following this tutorial 3DCoat Low-Poly Modeling for Beginners #7. The mesh being used is red and green. Mine is always default light green. I've tried to change the color but no cigar.

How is this mesh color change done?

Thanks

Is better to ask the video author.

I guess he is using his own Theme color

Well the training video is an official training video. Video doesn't tell who the author is. Its not a parameter change he's using 2 colors.  Funny the parameter shows an orange mesh? Mines not orange. Anyway I left a reply.

Yes I watched the video where he explains the simple checker. But the picking a color from the color doesn't change color. The color pick isn't working or I'm doing something incorrect.

its not important at all , i cant find on themes... he could be using a colorblind version , but honestly , if you follow step by step , nothing will change and your outcome will be the same

the colors panel on the top right is how you adjust , top left to right is polygroup colors .

Not working in 2024 25.  I tried that panel.

Thanks. Only 1 color square works for changing the color. Wonder why? Well off to more learning the poly's. Again thanks for the vid this was driving me crazy!

This is how the developer implemented it. Each color cell corresponds to a poly-group.

Ok makes sense. Is there any clear documentation pointing to this? Just trying to get a grip again on 3dcoat.
