Member JPWestmas Posted August 16 Member Share Posted August 16 (edited) So the transparent fur object (flyaway hairs) renders correctly over the geometry beneath it in the side view. But not in the front view. In the front view the transparency renders through all objects layers. Layer 0 visibility is off of course. Is there some sort of camera viewport clipping for transparency, Is that adjustable? Edited August 16 by JPWestmas
Carlosan
Try turning OFF Backface Culling and turning ON Correct alpha ordering
Member JPWestmas Posted September 2 Author Member Share Posted September 2 (edited) Nope doesn't help the transparency cutting through. I think you're right that it is a render order thing. That's what it is in unity, I have to change the rendering order priority. Doesn't appear that 3Dcoat has that exactly right. Or is broken. Carlosan
When you import that textures on other external app, are rendering ok ?

Yeah, can get it to work fine in URP unity 2021. The alpha can be made to work by default using the transparency model for the URP standard shader. With some shader graphs that require a black and white alpha mask, it sometimes takes some priority slider tweaking.
