New Member SKYRIXDreamer Posted September 2 New Member Share Posted September 2 So i recently began to use 3Dcoat in my workflow, and bought the 2024 version of the software. I'm currently using the 2024.26v and have been following some courses online to learn how to use it properly. However, when the course goes to the texturing process and i try to follow, 2 things happened. First, when i try to use a smart material after i bake the AO and cavity maps on to the assets, the mouse won't paint even though i have the right tool selected, the left mouse button pans around, and right mouse button zooms. Not sure if this is a glitch but in order to make it work, i have to go back to sculpt mode, select a random object, go back to painting and it works. I tried other ways to fix it but, that was the only solution that worked until now. All the objects that i want to paint on, i turned them into surfaces after working with voxels. Second, the objects that i made in the same project are a lot, and i was going to texture some first, then some others by parts. But now that i want to start texturing the next couple of objects it wont do it, i can only texture the ones that i textured first, but not the next ones. Not sure if I'm sup post to click on something else, or there is a new option that the course that I'm following doesn't have, because its a previous version of the software, or if it's a glitch, i can't tell since I'm new to this software. But after i start this project again, the objects that i want to paint to, display a red color for some reason. Can i get some help please? Thanks

Move the mouse cursor over the two dividing lines, hold down the left mouse button and drag the window to the desired location.

There are objects but no UV map names for these objects. Maybe that's the problem. Try loading any object from the start menu in a new scene and drawing on it with Smart Materials, will there be any bugs?
