New Member ChristianGuay Posted September 6 New Member Share Posted September 6 In 3DCoat ,whenever the user selects a Face OR Polygon, the way 3DCoat displays it in the Viewport looks like this. And '' that '' , in most ( if not all ) other 3D apps... looks like an '' INSET '' operation. It's is VERY confusing. Misleading. Frustrating. Etc. It's hard on the eye of the viewer to see what is actually selected. I do not feel that it adds any kind of value to 3DCoat. That said, if the 3DCoat dev team or creator prefers this, I don't mind. However, could you please add an option in 3DCoat 2024 and higherEdit > Preferences > Viewport ▣ Selected polygons are displayed fully with one color overlay, instead of displaying an Inset effect To Display polygons like this instead, when they are selected? It will help attract more artists to 3DCoat instead of giving them one reason to turn them Off. Thank you! Much appreciated. 1
