Im using blender 4.2 and coat 2024.26

when I send a 'mesh as sculpt object' from blender I see it rotated 90 degrees in coat

first I deleted the old addon in the addons_core (not the usual addon folder but the one in program files) and updated with the latest applink from github

then I changed the axis in the init.py everywhere it says 'export' to  axis_forward='-X', axis_up='Z'

now the object imports correctly into coat

the problem is that once you bring it back is rotated

so before bringing it back I have to deactivate z-up coordinate in the preferences of coat (which keeps toggling on everytime I send from blender)

bring it back and is in correct rotation

please test and fix

thank you

There's still a possible issue with these OS and software version:

3DCoat 2024.29-04
Windows 11 23H2 (22631.4391)

In Blender > Export Mesh As Sculpt Object
And in Coat, when configured Y up, viewport gizmo auto change to Z up, but the imported object is still Y up.
If Coat is configured with Z up, the object still imports as Y up.

Is it a bug? Or is it configuration? Please help
