Member Jakejazz Posted October 12 Member Share Posted October 12 Hello. Am I able to prevent the smoothing that occurs to a retopology mesh when it is exported out of 3D Coat? Attached is some very simple geometry, showing it in Cinema 4D before retopology and then a section of it after retopology? Any illumination on this would be much appreciated. 0 Carlosan
hi Try setting hard edges (Select > Sharp Edges) where you don't need smooth topology
0 Member Jakejazz Posted October 12 Author Member Share Posted October 12 Hi. I have used Sharp edges but as seen on the images, the mesh is smoothed between one polygon and the next.
