render turntable (MP4) issues

I'm trying to render my final object as a turntable for a college assignment, but all of the information in the docs seems out of date for rendering turntables.

it says that when I click next, i should be asked where I want to save my file but this doesn't happen. All it does is start rendering and then close the rendering window once it's done. It doesn't create a file, it doesn't create an image sequence, and there's nothing in the output folder that 3DCoat defaults to in documents.

Can anybody figure out why this is happening? Is my copy just borked or is this a known issue?

Pressing NEXT an explorer popups asking for a folder for mp4 file location, you need to select a folder and to assign a name.

This may work, but my application crashed and now only launches a black screen and freezes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, still nothing. Back to Maya I go.

I have done this to no avail.  I was going to try running 3dcoat as admin but then it couldn’t find my license, or my fbx file to import again so I gave up, I sent a message to Andrew also told him we need an easy way to select all so we can grab say for instance my three letter models so I can rotate them to paint the back easily since for some reason even using fill??  Should do everything in that letter for instance it not painting a few of the faces on the backside.  Hopefully he has a new version to test out sometime soon, because .31 and .32 are not working as intended in windows 11 insider edition latest version.
