Member DiJa Posted March 28 Member Share Posted March 28 Hello, today I wanted to create a new material in the shader window using the default and doing "construct new shader" After creating that new material all my previews went corrupted showing a material that does not correspod to their look, even the default preview got corrupted. Using 3DCoat 2025.01 I Tried "Refresh All Previews" and didn't refresh anything. Thank you!

Member DiJa Posted March 28 Author Member Share Posted March 28 Thank you Carlosan I was wondering if it's possible to export the shader to a matcap in blender? I really love the way 3dcoat default shader looks would love to keep the same feeling inside blender or even zbrush
Carlosan
Create a surface mode project with a default sphere assign any shader switch to Render Room on Render settings select Custom Size = 512x512 add environment light or more additional lights if you wish The sphere need to overlap a little the borders. Zoom a little until the edges overlap all four corners to get less artifacts Render to get the matcap image. matcap.3b On this project the Background selected is Vertical gradient (on camera settings) with Top/Bottom color => RGB = 21,21,
