Out of memory

I'm trying to load a pretty dense mesh (73 million obj) and 3d coat just crashes saying it out of memory. I have 64 gigs of RAM, should be enough. Is there any solution for this?

i have 64gb and normally i can have 150-200 million polys on 3dcoat , but if it still persists , try a different export type , still no luck then decimate to 30-40 million , you shouldnt see any difference with 40 mil decimated

Is it really the case that only users with that much RAM can handle that level of polygon density? Now I understand why my 24GB of RAM isn't enough to get good FPS in the Sculpt Room! I don’t have this issue in other softwares. It feels like 3DCoat is only suitable for users with high-end PCs.

I noticed in your image that the RAM usage is low, but the viewport is running at only 15 FPS, that’s quite slow.

thats my distance from the mesh , as i say i wouldnt use this dense of a mesh for anything , but i normally go up to 40-50 million , i normally get 10 fps far out and if im close in and small brush doing fine details then i get about 40-50 fps , most of the time its alpha stamping , stitching that sort of thing ..
