Is it possible to import another model within a current session? I have a male figure.  It's skin needed some going over but his genitals are a separate figure but conforms to the body when it's brought into DAZ Studio.  My tester found a weird unblended area and from what I can see it seems to be  the genital figure but I need to bring it in so I can blend it out properly with his thigh skin.

If there is a way to bring in and "Stack" one obj over another to get this done please instruct me on how to go about doing this.

Thank you

Richard

OK, one more question.  Is there a way to REPLACE a figure with the same figure but posed to reveal the issues that are  being pointed out to me while maintaining the texture layers already in play?  Spreading the legs I'm finally seeing what she's pointing out with some unwanted stretching around the buttock area.

Thanks again!

Hmm, that sort of worked.  The head textures with lips and ears came in fine but the rest a no go.  I'll just bring them back in as I already did all fixes for the maps in Photoshop.  Thanks for all your help!

If this isn't acceptable I'll start a new thread but since this is the same ongoing issue for me I'll post here.  My next issue is that in DAZ Studio they have a figure called Genesis 8 Male, his genital conformer, when conformed, HIDES part of the torso and attaches to the surrounding polygons for better blending of the textures.  It's a good idea until you need to actually texture them both (Gens and Torso).  I've really tried my best to understand how to work around this issue but it's a no-go so I'm once again reaching out to the community here, esp if you have worked with the DAZ3D figures and know the tricks on how to work with this.

1 Posed Genesis for painting, I hid parts that didn't need to be exported like inner mouth and eyeballs, set resolution to base and exported.

2 Loaded up the genital figure, moved it as close to the body as I could and set the resolution to base and exported.

3 Brought both in and setup the base textures but not completely feeling safe about this.  I'm on my last tester try before they delete my product page and make me wait to try again for the store and I completely get it.  I thought I had the bits fixed but when I loaded up the figure I found that since I exported Genesis with the genitals conformed they came in as a whole mesh and of course the Torso texture is now missing part of the texture and was just filled in with a skin tone so he's got a triangle of texture missing from the Torso so now I'm trying to figure out how to blend that out properly.

If 3DCoats option to bring in a figure without loosing the textures worked properly I could probably do the blend with the genitals attached using that figure export and then switch out with the figure without the genitals and do some tiny fixes and fill in the center where the triangle with no textures is but the program doesn't do what it says it can do so MOST of the textures are NOT there, they have to all be reloaded and if they are not saved out from the previous session I loose that work.

Help?  Suggestions?  Tips and Tricks?

Thank you

Richard

Do you have two separate objects with their own textures? Do you want to insert these two objects into the scene, import textures for each and then export as one object?

Hi Oleg, it's OK.  It's all done.  The items, as explained above are brought into DAZ Studio, one is a conformer, the genitals, the issue with this set up is that when non conformed the ends of the polygons from the gens VS the figures body, do not fit snugly to the shape, it only does that when conformed.  So getting a blend between both areas is nearly impossible.  I'm on Discord as well and there is a DAZ Studio creators forum there, NO ONE likes this method and ran into the same issues when trying to blend both.  One person had a workaround but for my old brain it made little sense.
