Exposed UV Seam when painting with depth

I just noticed recently that depth painting isn't object oriented but uv oriented. This makes the normal maps to show the uv seam which makes the normal map look broken.

Is there anything I can do about this?

I can't
but maybe its because of the import settings I use?

oh wait a second!
I tried painting on a pre-made mesh from 3d coat, and the same issue is happening!

and I didn't even touched the uv map, and I can't edit it either because I have the textura version

So it seems like there is something going on with 3d coat itself

I'll ask the developer if this is a bug.
