How to get clean line edges on Voxel Sculpt Mode

Hi

 

even with 1.2 million voxel count I am not gettign smooth edges in Vox Hide. How to resolve this ?

At the bottom of the Tool Panel you can click SMOOTH ALL and it will smooth those edges. If it degrades the shape by smoothing, then there wasn't really enough resolution. I usually hit the W key to toggle wireframe, to get a good visual indication of the density of the resolution. 1 million may seem like a lot, but for crisp edges you may need more. With Surface mode (geometry only...no voxels), you don't need as much and when using tools like CUTOFF, it will dynamically subdivide only the edges where the cut is made.

That's the trade off between Voxels and Surface mode. Some things work better with Voxels and others work better with Surface mode.

already made a lengthy post about this , its due to the way voxels are made , lines go around the circumference as well as a voxelised mesh , its weird because surface does this perfect , but you cant use vox hide , unfortunately to get this smooth you need to bump the resolution up super high
