Anyone any good at recreating the functionality of certain photoshop brushes in 3dcoat? Im trying to salvage as much of my former workflow as im able too and im having a difficult time getting a grasp on the Brush system. One brush in particular i get the original alpha it uses but not recreating how it works.

thanks

Do you have the brush in abr format, or need to recreate brush settings ?

-----------------------

how to import Photoshop ABR brushes into 3DCoat:

Click that (+) at the end:

Then choose Open Texture File. I'm certain people are getting lost here, it won't occur to the average user that an ABR file is considered a "texture" file.

When the file window opens, all good:

Hope this helps.

Those are painting brush alphas. You can export ABR from Photoshop, and import Alphas in Coat, but it will get only alpha images.

Brush settings cant be transferred, as Coat uses completely different engine and settings.
