Member GMG3D Posted November 7, 2025 Member Share Posted November 7, 2025 (edited) As the title sais, turntable videos are not saving in the Turntable Videos folder. I'm having a lot of trouble saving turntable renders lately. I have 3D Coat 2024.31, my students have the latest version. We can't find the renders. When we try to render an image sequence, it makes a temp folder as well, but deletes it right after. Here is a video of me demonstrating for my students last year how to do this, I just tried the same steps, and as you can see above, the folder is empty. Please help... Carlosan
As I remember .31 and .32 are not working as intended in windows 11 insider edition Hope this help: On Capture menu, Pressing NEXT an explorer popups asking for a folder for mp4 file location, you need to select a folder and to assign a name. Another way -once the project is saved- is to switch to Render room. Assign a folder location press settings Next on the upper right corner of viewport select Camera > > Rotate around Object bounding box On render room press render t.mp4 Quote Link to comment https://3dcoat.com/forum/index.php?/topic/32224-turntable-videos-still-not-saving-properly/#findComment-201504 Share on other sites
Member GMG3D Posted November 7, 2025 Author Member Share Posted November 7, 2025 My students are able to follow my video and render their turntables, it's just me having issues now, I'm going to update to a newer version of 3D Coat and see if it fixes it. 1 Quote Link to comment https://3dcoat.com/forum/index.php?/topic/32224-turntable-videos-still-not-saving-properly/#findComment-201505 Share on other sites
Member GMG3D Posted November 7, 2025 Author Member Share Posted November 7, 2025 Also, for the Capture/Create Turntable MP4 in the render room to work and save an MP4 video, you have to make sure Save Lossless Images is unchecked in the Render Settings on the right side of the render room screen: (I have it checked on in the image below, which prevents the MP4 from being created). 1 Quote Link to comment https://3dcoat.com/forum/index.php?/topic/32224-turntable-videos-still-not-saving-properly/#findComment-201506 Share on other sites
