Member GMG3D Posted November 7, 2025 Member Share Posted November 7, 2025 There is a new panel for Materials in 3D Coat 2025. After accidentally applying one to the sculpt, there doesn't appear to be a way to remove it, am I missing something? This is a material not a shader or smart material. Carlosan
you need to change the shader to another one Quote Link to comment https://3dcoat.com/forum/index.php?/topic/32225-how-to-remove-a-material-in-3d-coat-2025/#findComment-201508 Share on other sites
Member GMG3D Posted November 7, 2025 Author Member Share Posted November 7, 2025 Changing shaders doesn't remove the 'normal map' or 'height map' that was applied by the material. It changes to the new shader, but the height map from the material is still applied. Member Solution GMG3D Posted November 7, 2025 Author Member Solution Share Posted November 7, 2025 I noticed these materials are from the node graph. To get rid of them, I had to go to the node graph and delete the nodes: 1 Quote Link to comment https://3dcoat.com/forum/index.php?/topic/32225-how-to-remove-a-material-in-3d-coat-2025/#findComment-201510 Share on other sites
