not exactly a bug , but im currently using windows 10

in voxel modes the "stroke expansion" should stop the brush from applying anything to the mesh until the cursor is being moved , however pinch,flatten,smooth,blob,scrape and sphere all apply without the cursor being move making a consistent stroke impossible unless your LMB and stroke speed is perfectly timed

aalso pinch tool in surface mode is bugged , the lift mode (ctrl) doesnt give the correct alpha result 

4.9 is extremely faster on strokes at higher poly

voxel remesh has very inconsistent polygons , they end up grouping together so certain areas are more densely populated than others making strokes uneven .

flatten tool indents too much , you cant get a smooth flat surface with the brush .

thats off the top of my head so far ill have to do a quick sculpt tomorrow

mines working now , the lift only mode wasnt inverting correctly...

Changing sculpt layer parent sometimes randomly freezes and crashes.

The steps to reproduce the bug are "change parent", trying to assign to a new parent layer
In the video you can see me using the keyboard shortcut to change parents quickly until it happens:
Honestly its been a nightmare over the last few versions. I have to save every time I change parents and it really slows me down.

What is the problem ?
Anytime you do smooth selection a few times either using alphas or not you get these weird lines that form for some reason, hope this can be fixed!
