We are planning to make some more changes in this release related to sculpting, but such major changes as quadrangular torn detail levels with a polygonal base model are not in this release. But sculpting will remain a priority in 3Dcoat and will improve. 2 Quote Link to comment https://3dcoat.com/forum/index.php?/topic/34175-3dcoat-2026-gpuppp-development/page/3/#findComment-205058 Share on other sites

Member OutOfShadow Posted May 31 Member Share Posted May 31 Very exciting update. Are the CAD modeling tools still being worked on? Those could replace Plasticity for me (one fewer app to use). 1 Quote Link to comment https://3dcoat.com/forum/index.php?/topic/34175-3dcoat-2026-gpuppp-development/page/3/#findComment-205062 Share on other sites

It would be interesting to see to what extent 3DC CAD modeling could replace it. Editable chamfer, filets, surfaces etc would be nice to see in 3DC. AI modeling is on the rise and will definitely become a trend. Using AI to generate a basic model, then applying reverse modeling thinking to turn it into your desired product model with CAD modeling tools will surely save a lot of time. I’m really looking forward to it!
