just experimenting with the concept of creating terrains in 3DC...I used the '2D Paint' Tool to paint the main terrain floor, (with the 'Txtr_Tree' shader)... then used 'increase', 'build', and other tools to give it height, etc...I also used the 2D Paint tool to paint the water..I found that it pays off to keep the length grid-size of the terrain as small as possible...this is my first try at this, so this terrain/water is a very crude sample, but I do like the idea of building terrains in 3DC. if you have created terrains in 3DC, or if you create any terrains in 3DC 'from scratch' in the future, plse feel free to post links to your terrain thread .

I like it. I do have Vue which for a landscape focused suite, has pretty awful terrain tools.

How quick did you find the workflow went with this?

hi, Ghostdog...as for building the terrain/water, adding height, etc., that went very quickly...but I'm afraid that's as far as I've gotten for now,,it still hasn't left the voxel room yet...I still want to experiment with adding some more enhancements to it....but if you experiment with building a terrain, plse post back here with your results.
