philnolan3d
3.1.17 DX 64 CUDA I'm having a lot of problems with big chunks of geometry missing when I Unhide, whether I'm using Cell Hide or just hide doesn't seem to matter. Also whether I Unhide All or hold Ctrl and brush over the area. On this model I had all but one small part hidden. When I unhide I got this: Then I hit Undo and got this: This has happened a lot so I've just been saving often and reloading the last save every time it happens, usually this is OK but I have lost a little work. I also see similar problems when I Invert Hidden. In fact I think I have used Invert Hidden in most, if not all, of the times this has happened. Andrew Shpagin
I tried to reproduce it on simple models. But no luck. Any combination of hide, invert hidden works well. Does it happen every time on your side or randomly?
philnolan3d
It's random, but on this model it happens every time on the same spot. I can send you that part of the model.
Andrew Shpagin
It's random, but on this model it happens every time on the same spot. I can send you that part of the model. I discovered the problem. Seems there is some noise in hidden volume. Voxels->Delete hidden. All works well after that.
Carlosan
4.8.20 Bug regression confirmed - Voxel mode Vox Hide, Geometry > invert hidden, edit the volume, Geometry > invert hidden again, Geometry > Object-ify.
