Member cnob Posted January 17, 2010 Member Share Posted January 17, 2010 Hi guys, Im pretty sure that somebody else already had this idea, but it kinda stucks in my head now and Im wondering what others think of it. What if I could connect that device to my PC and use it for motion capturing, for my own 3D Projects??? I know it's not a professional tool, but what if it works? greetings Fabian
philnolan3d
Yeah I've been thinking about this since Natal was first announced. I know the HR person for Natal, maybe I can get her to poke the dev team in this direction. Probably not. I always assumed someone like Johnny Lee would hack it to make it do this, as it turns out Johnny Lee is already on the dev team. I was thinking, that since the 360 controllers work natively as PC controllers then maybe Natal would have the same easy connection.
Advanced Member spacepainter Posted January 21, 2010 Advanced Member Share Posted January 21, 2010 I'd like it to work as my 3d mouse to paint without sitting at the table, dancing around!
Advanced Member Marc Wakefield Posted January 22, 2010 Advanced Member Share Posted January 22, 2010 I'd like it to work as my 3d mouse to paint without sitting at the table, dancing around! It would be good exercise. I would never need to go to the gym again!
