Member curly Posted January 23, 2010 Member Report Share Posted January 23, 2010 Hi, Can someone please write a book over 3D Coat. Every decent 3D app has a decent reference book. (Looking something up in a decent book works better for me.)
Advanced Member T.H. ROCK Posted January 23, 2010 Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 23, 2010 As fast as Andrew updates 3DCoat, a book would be outdated in less than a month. IMHO
Advanced Member Digital777 Posted January 24, 2010 Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 24, 2010 What i have done is follow the video manual - http://www.3d-coat.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3321 It is great and gives a example of how the new tools released work and you can download them and keep for reference also. When new things are released theres more stuff posted so read through that thread or check the channel it has - http://vimeo.com/channels/3dcoat
Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted January 24, 2010 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted January 24, 2010 As fast as Andrew updates 3DCoat, a book would be outdated in less than a month. IMHO Yeah, one was supposed to be in the works (Dwayne Ferguson/Wolf), but he said the same thing. By the time it could be published, it would be out of date. It's best to just grab a cup of coffee and go through the manual or Wiki (on this site), and all the videos available
