philnolan3d
3.2.03 DX 64 Cuda When I click To Max Level or To Min Level with the Ptex tool the Object Materials panel jumps out of it's spot and shrinks. Here's a video: http://screencast.com/t/MjdiZDVmM I have a lot of problems with that panel and the Sub-Objects panel both jumping to the that same spot and shrinking to the same size. For example if I delete one of the Object-Materials both of those panels jump to this spot and shrink.
Advanced Member 3DArtist Posted February 10, 2010 Advanced Member Share Posted February 10, 2010 Same problem here. Also, if you grab an undocked palette by the tab (the part with the title text in it) that has been re-sized, the palette jumps back to the original size. Reputable Contributor digman Posted February 10, 2010 Reputable Contributor Share Posted February 10, 2010 I had problems with dialog boxes and items disappearing for so long that I thought it was a feature. LOL, don't take me serious, I love 3DCoat, I'm just poking a little fun at a long standing problem with dialog boxes in general...
Advanced Member jwiede Posted February 12, 2010 Advanced Member Share Posted February 12, 2010 Yeah, palette and dialog sizing and location state doesn't appear to be saved properly when changed, and occasionally when you grab one, it then reverts to the "last stored" state (which by then is out of date) causing jumps and resizing. It's random enough that it is hard to say whether the state being stored or being dropped is more common, can't find an obvious trigger either way.
