philnolan3d
I inquired about the Windows beta and got a response from Jack Greasley saying he'd let me know and that they're interested in feedback from users of other software.
Advanced Member spacepainter Posted June 10, 2010 Advanced Member Share Posted June 10, 2010 We are working on a Windows port and will be having a Alpha / Beta program on Windows as soon as we have something suitable to test. I can't give any firm dates at the moment. Sorry. If you'd like to pre-register interest for Windows Alpha / Beta please email mari-info@thefoundry.co.uk and we'll drop you an email when we're ready to go. Advanced Member ghib Posted June 10, 2010 Author Advanced Member Share Posted June 10, 2010 I registered my interest a few weeks ago as soon as they dropped the news that there will be a Windows Beta available soon.. I'm pretty excited about this app and hope that it runs with the same performance (on our work machines) as they are claiming. I'd be interested to know what Andrew's response to Mari might be; perhaps spurring him on to create a stronger brush engine and a proper multi Layer shading system that will allow us to have more versatile material setups. I for one would love to see coloured spec maps and have unique Layers for objects. Give power back to the artists.
