philnolan3d
This bug has been around for a long time, I really hope it can get fixed. I've seen it with multiple tools before. This time it's the Scrape tool. The pen goes all crazy when it gets near hard edges or even just big lumps. So now the scrape tool is not usable. I've tested all of the other voxel tools and only Scrape is doing it. Video: http://screencast.com/t/OTBkNzA5ZW Edit: Correction, the same Surface tools that did it months ago are doing it now too. Flatten, Chisel, SF. Clay, and Rapid

Member martinni Posted August 31, 2010 Member Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 Just found a solution! The problem is as Artman suggests, that the volume is not in world space, if you right click the problematic volume and select "move to object space" the problem dissappears
Andrew Shpagin
Ok, I made that it will work correctly even over non-uniform spaces.

Thanks to you and Andrew.
