Oh thanks Roger_K!

Much appreciate, especially from a Celt cousin :) (I'm from Britain).

It must have took time to retouch the screens.

The result is really cool. I'll try to get close to this.

I'm alone in my company now. No train to go back home.

I tried to make a cube-map for the submarine.

It is still too shinny, and, anyway I don't have the submarine

to put it into the scene and make adjustments. May be tomorrow.

Good luck to fight English at Aviva Stadium next week.

French failed, what a shame!

Im not much of a rugby fan, my dad on the other hand loves it :).

The paint over took 10-15 minutes max. I can post the PS document if you want.

Britany?, there's a village there, always thinking to model it, not just roman temples. :drinks:

Nice PP Roger_K. We could start a thread with all the dirty tricks we know on ps. Why not?

I think a darker spooky scene could work better.

There is only the submarine made in 3dCoat

and a custom "skybox" around (An horizontal cube map in fact).

Yes, render is done in Marmoset Toolbag (the skybox is done with something called

SkyboxTool if I remember well).

I did something very bad to quickly get the pics needed for the skybox but don't tell my boss about it.

Used a Maya scenery I built at work; it was more a kind of wasteland surrounded by mountains.

Changed the ambient and directional color to something blue. Changed the sky texture into a giant seaweed pattern stuff,

then took six pictures with 6 differents cameras with a 90 degree angle value.

The rest of the work was just to put the 6 pics together in Photoshop to make a cubebox of it.

Then imported all in Toolbag.

This work need a little more "love". Me and my family will be away for a while, so it will be done later on.

Tomorrow morning we'll head down to Osaka. See you soon.

LJB, Scott, Artman, BeatKitano, Thank you.

Counting the instances, there is 13 layers in the Vox room.

BeatKitano > Thank you for the info about Brennilis. Funny to see that

french media didn't talk that much about it... It has quite an impact on envirronement.

Impossible to see the light-house shine when you are just down it :)

I started to block a new character. It is still very rough and nude.

I'll think about a design in the next days.

Your designs? Great designs!!!

I wish I see this flow of shapes on your sculpting. Its funny but this last is the easier part.

A spontaneous flow of forms! This is what I get from these drawings.

Not going fast. This one may take months...

Better do this in one week. Else it wont make you wiser. It wont help you as a person and an artist. :drinks:

For example: broad fast strokes with the move tool on a wavy simple structure can produce interesting drapery. Details can wait.

Go for it Garagarape, great sketches... :clapping:

I've tried "Paste" to quickly block clothes.

That's a funny tool I've never used before.

It is still very rough but I already can imagine folds

coming out of it.

Big Thanks to Jake-H for is shaders!

The arabian night mood will come later. At the moment it rather look

like a desert guerillero...

Nice Progress. I would like to see the fellow a little taller and a little thinner, But that's my opinion. The sketch makes him look quite wraith like yet the Body of the sculpt is kinda stocky. Good progress though. Keep going.

True. His arms should be more "noueux" (nubby?)...

He lives in dry lands and break rocks with his bare hands every morning before break-first :)

But... Too lazy to work today.

Two or three stokes on trousers folds and a bad render:
