Hmm. Im not in love like i am with the reference sketch. the body dimension is just too different. too thick, Its a good sculpt however, Head shape is good but again feels a little to full. From reference sketch i imagined a gaunter more ghostly proportioning. Sorry for my crit. keep going

Wave of Light > Thks!

LJB > You're right about the sketch. To me that was just

a start line but making effort to try to keep its spirit would have been fine too.

The sketch is a bit cartoon like, but in fact I'd like to focus on fabric folds.

I feel more comfortable with something with lot of volume.

Trying to put the sketch itself in 3d (speed sculpt?) would be a good exercise.

I'll see if I have enough motivation when I'm done with this different version.

Hmmm seems we have all suffered from this SQL bug with the site, as long as things end up where we want them then i guess NP.

Looking good, He's lost his ragged charm but he's gonna look the biz when he's a mesh im sure. Maybe just a little more fettling of the arm rags before hand??

Thanks LJB.

Oh yes, he lost his dirty looks. It his more kind of "Prince of persia" style now.

I'll see if I can give him a special taste when painting texture.

I choose the safe way for the shapes because I'd like to

put bones in it and give him several poses. Just simple shapes

for easier animation controls because I don't feel comfortable

when it comes to animation.

Had a quick baking try with the head part. Not clean enough.

It is cool to have different material baked as a texture base though.

So tired of this guy!

But must finish it.

I had troubles with what I thought was a colour setting problem in Photoshop.

I don't know why but my display setting was on 59 hertz. So stupid...

Awful gradations almost drove me crazy.

Last update (still unsatisfied with the colour scheme):

Can't do it right... My Maya mentor use to say:

"Start learning rigging techniques by animating the clane

of a fireman truck". But I was unable to listen to my master...

Do someone knows about a trick to understand all at once

in 20 minutes? lol. I'm gonna eat some worms.
