Member Creator Posted January 23, 2011 Member Report Share Posted January 23, 2011 Hi!! Another weird problem. I created project under Win XP 64 bit, and everything was working fine, but when I want to open this project under Fedora (64bit) 3D Coat crashes. Other projects created under Windows works fine. I think something is wrong with memory allocation, because after crash there is short message, which after translation sounds something like that: "Violation of memory security (core dump)" (Sorry for word to word translation, I have Polish version of Linux and don't know real translation of this message). I temporarily solved problem by opening 3D Coat under Wine and exporting raw voxel data, and then importing it in Linux 3D Coat. Btw. 3D Coat works perfect under Wine Any clues? If there is a need I can send project file to developers. Edit: Other problem occurs. When I want go back from surfacemode to voxel it crashes. Error message: 3d-coat-64: 3D-Coat/MC/MCubes.cpp:9962: void VolRastr::CreateVRArray(VRArray&, VRastPlane&): Warunek zapewnienia `(n&1)==0' nie został spełniony. - if you need I'll translate polish words. system Fedora 14 64bit 3D Coat version: 3.5.05 RAM:12 gb Edit2: I've just checked out 32 bit version of 3D Coat under Linux and it works OK !! This is Madness !!
Andrew Shpagin
Other problem occurs. When I want go back from surfacemode to voxel it crashes. At least this part of problem will be solved in the next build.
