Hello people! :)

Long time ago I didn't post, so I decided to make a new wip with the T2126 of my own! I hope you'll like.

hi chris,

that's looking good.

i really like the metallic surface you've given it,very nice.

good modelling overall, like the way you've blended mechanical with organic modeling.

now,are you gonna build the rest of the body?!

(only half joking) :)

well done.

Hi Sandro Borg! thanks, I'm glad you like it :)

yes it is planned that I made the body, then a Retopo and textures and then render in Octane.

That's cool, did you know you can have 3DC automatically render and upload a turntable animation, then post it in the forum? Just look under Help > Upload Turntable in 3DC to start it. The forum posting option is new I think there are instructions once it's uploaded.

thank you Phil, I'll watch it ;)

did you use Ptex with Lightwave? if so, yes, can you explain how it works there please? :good: thanks

I have tested it, I don't normally use it though. It's exactly the same as microvertex in that respect, just export the model from 3DC and it saves images out with a UV map on the model. If you save an LWO it should just load right up. The only thing I had a problem with was using it for displacement maps, it looked really bad if I used adaptive pixel subdivision in LW. That was a while ago though so it may have been fixed.
