Hi Spazmortis,

that is one cool looking Sci fi Daemon thingy man!

I like how you dealt with the anatomy, especially the biceps - clean and angular sculpt.

The mecha parts are cool too.

Are you gonna paint it now?

btw when you said you used the 'best modeling program around',were you talking about 3DCoat? ;)

it certainly is my favourite.

Look forward to seeing more from you.

you sculpted that using a MOUSE??!!

now I am twice as impressed :)

you really ought to get yourself a wacom if you haven't used one before.

I'm using a bamboo,one of their

cheapest models and it works perfectly fine,as well as my old intuos which

died on me.

you will really notice the difference sculpting with a pressure sensitive pen.

yeah,the bamboo rocks.

works great with 3DCoat.

I don't think I could have completed my latest

sculpt using a mouse,it would have probably driven me nuts,or got I'd have got cramps in my hand.

so well done you :)

now, go get yourself a bamboo! lol

Thanks dude :)

3D coat is great, you just have to practice and get used to the tools. I recon the best thing to do in 3d coat is to start off at a really low res and up it as you need it. if you start too high it is impossible to work with, even when you do the to ram thing. I am in the process of making tutorials, I will let you know when they are complete. Everyone should use 3D coat :D

I'm amazed how good this is. The only thing that I would like to suggest is to ether make the head a little bit bigger or the rest of the body a little big smaller.

Not much, just tiny bit. It may help or not. But it's already looks really great. Keep us updated :)

That gives the character a whole different character - very cool, really suits it,kinda dark fantasy style.

Though the mecha armour you were working on showed promise too,it gave it more of a sci-fi feel.

good work. :good:

Oh yeah and I just realize that the upper body was in ram mode and not at full detail in the pic. oops :S
