Advanced Member Frankie Posted March 3, 2008 Advanced Member Share Posted March 3, 2008 Andrew, what you thinking about this name: Chameleon Its also can be Chameleon 3D ... I dont know why, but i like this name very much. Also i think its presents what software can do, its not sounds cheap (to me anyway). I already can see cute green chameleon sitting on the ball from 3db logo. Also, i modeled chameleon a few monthes before, i could texture paint it in 3db and composit with your logo Ouch! I wouldn't do that if I were you since mudbox2 is supposed to come up pretty soon with a painting engine called 'Chameleon'

Member CdeB Posted March 4, 2008 Member Share Posted March 4, 2008 Again, new to program and forum I have whizzed through this thread and if it really is a problem to use 3D-brush (which I find difficult to believe if the clash is only with Zbrush), the next best I have spotted is: 3D-Finish for the reasons already suggested -its what the progam does gives a 'finish' (painting term) to an object and thus produces a 'finished' work and its exactly how I will be using the program Chris
New Member rrf Posted March 9, 2008 New Member Share Posted March 9, 2008 My '2 cents' Morphos Mercury Impasto (3dImp) But I happen to like '3dB' also. rrf

Member goodrichm Posted March 10, 2008 Member Share Posted March 10, 2008 I think it has been "3D Coat" officially for a while. I'm honored & truly humbled that you chose 3D-Coat from my list of suggestions. This is a first for me! This an awesome program with an even better community and support team behind it! Thank you so much...MG
