I have a problem whereby I can't get rid of a stroke mode that leaves dabs. Changing alphas has no effect.

I'm trying to stencil a fabric and I get daubs in a row. How do I exit this stroke?

This problem survived a restart. Next stop, delete Options.XML

Deleting 'Options" did not help.

Hola Carlos, I guess the file had become corrupted because substituting autosave 3 seems to have solved the problem. Adjusting the spacing got the daubs closer or further apart but did not allow a smooth, uniform stroke. Bloody gremlins or malcriados electronicos.

Now I'm dealing with the difference between the preview and what the bucket delivers.

Cranking the res up to 8k solves the problem at the expense of all my RAM.
