philnolan3d
I've just been checking out ReconstructMe with my Kinect. http://reconstructme.net/ Below is my first scan. It's not hard to do and works pretty well, but it's all command line, no UI so it's a little frustrating that way. My biggest problem is that I don't have a good "stage" area close enough to my computer. The kinect's cables are long, but not that long. Advanced Member spacepainter Posted March 1, 2012 Advanced Member Report Share Posted March 1, 2012 Does it work with a dollhouse scale stage?
philnolan3d
Yeah a dollhouse is a little too small. Here's another scan, this time my camera bag with wires to show the scale.
Advanced Member spacepainter Posted March 2, 2012 Advanced Member Report Share Posted March 2, 2012 Oyeah I 've been looking at some information, ofcourse the laser infrared grid is made for fullbody things. It looks very promising, it could work with a stillife of fruits or an ornament.
