Thank you Michalis, I doo get a real kick out of trying to make the simple interesting though It all in the texture with this axe. Voxel base 320 tris Retop then Painted. Three stages of Decay.

Oh! nice items!

Do you have all your texture variations gathered on one set?

If it is a game stuff, I imagine a uv scroll system or a texture blend system in order

to get blood on it after smashing zombies for a while.

I've heard about Lizzie Borden in a japanese tv show a few days ago.

The house where she killed (probably killed) her mom and pa is now a museum

wich you can spend a night in! ... Creepy

I can see how we might do that with Two variants but Three? we gonna swap the textures out though were thinking of ramping down the Specular as the blood dries. Spec maps are held in Alpha channel so a second and third texture is all we need.

And they can easily be layered on in 3D-Coat and switched on and off or multiplied to give nice variation.
