Hey there,  Is there a hotkey to change the color to the secondory color in 3DCoat Textura. I know the hotkey for this action is the key 'x' in the normal version. But this button does nothing in Textura. There is also no mention of 'x' in the hotkey menu. Also: I couldnt find anything searching the internet.

Pressing "Shift" you can inverse cut

One more question on this topic ...can you do an inverse cut ...let say I have a circle shape ...cut what is outside not inside?   Tnx!

Hi everyone, I have a question about edge, poly, and vertex conversion in the Retopo Room. If I select four edges that form a polygon, is there a way to convert those edges into a polygon — and then convert it back into edges afterward? This workflow is possible in Modo’s retopology tools, and I’m wondering if there’s an equivalent method in 3DCoat. Thanks in advance!

Will do. Thank you for the reply. Is this a newer bug? Hopefully it gets squashed soon.

Hello Select the object base and retopo creating a surface (on the autopo I deleted top and bottom face areas) Select all Polygroup faces (keep it selected) On Mesh Menu > Convert to Sculpt Mesh   Now you have the surface on Sculpt Room as new Layer   With that Sculpt Layer selected    Pick Use Low Poly Mesh   Load Low poly Model from file or select it from window "Poly Models" or "Sculpt Models". (Is less intensive for the computer to use polymesh models)   Scale as needed   Turn eye off the base mesh Layer to visualize the chain mesh     Hope this help

Hello all, Usually find my way around new features but this one has me stuck. I want to create a surface array for chainmail, I have my sculpt model as voxel and surface versions, I can create an array between a net points with no issues but what I want to do is create the array over the entire model (just as in the showcase video, when the demonstrator applies the chainmail to the entire shirt.) I am usually met with an error [no surface exists!] and cannot find a way to complete the operation, can anybody shed any light on how I can go about applying the array to the entire surface to the sculpt model? Version 2025.10. Room: Sculpt Model: Voxel and surface. For information, my model is made in the sculpt room from a voxel primative with no other steps. Many thanks in advance for any help.

Im using v2025.09. It was working fine but when I tried to update it to v2025.10, it wasnt doing anything so I canceled the update. Now when I open up 3DCoat, I got a message saying something about troubleshooting with a list of things. None of the things in the list were useful. I've uninstalled, deleted ALL folders then installed it again. Same message. I reinstalled and deleted the config directly and now it starts but the whole menu bar at the top and all options are not there. No hotkeys work, its like its completely dead except for the viewport. Videocard drivers are up to date (again, it worked fine until I tried updating) CPU is a 5950 64 g of ram m.2 drive
