  1. Yeah. I tried working in 3dc on my tablet but the camera navigation made me go back to a mouse. I wouldn't mind an option that emulates zbrush camera navigation. I can totally understand why some people don't like the camera navigation in zbrush if they always use a mouse. But it works good for tablets. For now I'm stuck to playing with VS using a mouse.

Camera navigation ?!?!?! In zbrush you rotate tool not camera. ZBRUSH IS NIGHTMARE, the most stupied and shity interface and workflow on the world (i am sure on other worlds too). Thats why i switch to 3d-coat.

  2. In this case light tweaking with brush can help (mode->Tweak with brush, use bigger brush to capture not on vertex but some bunch)

Agree but I CANT, that was my first idea but retopo mesh is covered by the sculpted surface and you cant tweak/select retopo components. at least it happens at 2.17 ( latest version)

No mattaer how big is the brush it just ignores "invisible parts" of the retopo

  3. Maybe just a few relax uv options will do all the job, like max relax by edge angles/face angles/face centers.... I never need something more than this when i do UVs job. With this tools i am able to do any i mean realy ANY uv tweaks without care of what exaxtly is the UV algorythm. Even simple planar map (cutet later on needed edges) with few relax iterations gives totaly usefull unwrap. I do this for last 8 yeras every day.

  4. During the retopo process if i sculpt some geometry over base object the retopo geometri doesnt snap (doesnt stick to the base mesh). It will be nice if retopo geometry follows the aditional sculpting.

    Other issue:

    i start doing retopo

during the retopo i decide to sculpt aditional detail that covers the retopo mesh ( goes over it )

i am not able to selest or update parts of retopo mesh because its covered by the model.

not sure that i am clear, but mi english is far from perfect.

    Al best
