Thank you for the reply John and the kind offer of help. I won't be able to make it over to 3D Hobby tonight but perhaps others can. I will probably wait and hope the course is repeated rather than take up a spot when I am not sure I can fill it.

I have never been to a live training course (videos mostly) - Is there anything I need or need to know about, besides needing the program of course?

It is better to use DX version in most cases.

In trial you can export/import during 15 days.

You can get your money back.

You can also try V3 beta version, there are very much improvements and new technologies.

For painters and game developers new "per pixel painting" is extremely efficient.

Could you please tell me what is the GL or DX offering for opening the program?

The trial does not let you evaluated anything outside of the program. What if I purchase and I am not pleased with the export capabilities - is there some return policy that covers this area after I purchase?

I was sent a link in the mail to purchase (3D Coat2) at a discount which then gives me a chance to purchase an upgrade to 3 ($60) when it comes out. Do you usually have an upgrade price for previous owners?
