Just like it works in the pixel paint room....

Isn't the tiled box supposed to work like the pixel paint tile? I mean seamless? This means, if I paint over the edge of one tile, the stroke should be continued on the next and wrapped on the other side, to create a seamless pattern. The Voxel box just repeats the stroke for all tiles, creating a Tiled pattern. I don't need 9 or 4 boxes for this, one would be sufficient.

As the title says:
I suggest at least an option to automatically switch to a standard mouse cursor (arrow) for any non brush based operation like transform or rectangular selection or spline editing. This would give a much better feedback on the mode you're in. I always feel I have the wrong tool selected.
It would also be nice to have a selection tool as a default, instead of having always a tool attached to the mouse. This would prevent accidental painting. Every 3d Application has some form of "neutral" mouse mode (selection usually) Having always a tool feels like a peace of duct tape on your finger that you can't get rid of.

+1. At least enable an option to lock the 2d grid to the mesh, so when we zoom or transform it doesn't go out of whack. When using snapping with splines sometimes I need to zoom in or out and then I have to recenter the grid - and it is never 100% accurate.
With this simple addition, 3D Coat would be the PERFECT tool for my needs!
Second that
At least lock the 2d grid to the world.

I would really appreciate that too. I just need to upgrade my mudbox to do some "classic" scultping, but mudbox can´t even paint diffuse/bump/spec simultaneously, so I´d rather use only 3dc ithout having to switch between apps.

Sadly it is outdated by now. I'm still hoping for a documentation, that has an index and is searchable.
