I am well aware of the hard surface modeling techniques that can be used in the 3d sculpting packages and most of it requires a lot of alpha techniques. This however is not always the most efficient way of modeling hard surfaces. What I would really like to see is Pixars sub D in 3D Coat the way Modo is handling them. I believe this would really set the bar for dedicated Modeling Package, Ploys and Voxels the best of both worlds. So far I like the versatility of 3D coat, specialized Poly modeling tools would really help with keeping you in one package. Keep up the good work.

A simple spline tool snapping to surface, over what ever geometry type would work for cleaner surfaces than organic brushes/alphas.
