  1. I'm on 3Dcoat 4.9.67

So i'm trying to paint on this model and there is no realtime edge padding whatsoever no matter what padding settings I use. on all sharp angles where i have seams I get those horrible gray and black dots and I can't paint on those. It's awful.

I tried to re unwrap the UV in 3dcoat, import and subdivide and not subdivide... export my model from blender at different scales...

At this point i've wasted a whole day on this and need urgent help. I'm probably staring at a bug?

    Thanks

Here's the exported model with applied subdivide modifiers if you wanna have a look..  https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/377847723216470019/1074262413400096809/kangoolina_001.obj

  2. Hi, i'm a french hobbyist 3d modeler currently in formation for a future career in the 3D film industry. i am a retro graphics enthusiast and mainly do work resembling these eras (ps1,Ds) but i also enjoy doing realistic.

I havent explored all the features of 3Dcoat yet, but it keeps suprising me on how handy it can be for the job.

  3. Hi everyone, i havent introduced myself yet but i'll get to it shortly.

So 3D coat is amazing, it was really easy to learn and use, to be honest im suprised its not more popular, but here comes something that got me.

In the retopology room when i try to create polygons with any tool on an object i imported while i enabled symmetry on Z the mirrored normals become flipped. (this doesnt happen when i use X or Y symmetry) (and even after aplying the symmetry)

And that's it, i found no way to flip normals in 3Dcoat and i don't think there is, so i'm stuck. I thank you in advance for your help.
