Thanks for the quick reply, but not exactly what I was looking for. Not sure if you have ever used a program with a local rotation feature. Essentially it allows you to orbit around the last place on the mesh you were working on so that movement isn't so sensitive/ tight. Retopologizing tighter areas on a mesh becomes ridiculous without this feature.

So while using the standard navigation, Alt + mouse clicks is great, I would love to have a method of Local rotation around my click similar to ZBrush. It simply becomes broken while trying to retopo smaller parts of my mesh at points like fingers. If there is a way to alleviate this problem I would love to know, because it is currently near impossible to get this done with the horrible camera controls at smaller scale areas.
