Now I must set axis with "make joints" Tool?

I have Substance Designer 5 too and will be happy about a bridge or better a interagtion :-)
Maybe like Presets like in Unreal Engine or in Cienma 4d.
In 3D-Coat it will be great when the material setting of SD5 will be work as brush in 3D-Coat !?
Maybe the way is with Material-ID Maps?
Paint in 3D-Coat on a Color Material ID Layer at the same time that paint other material or color pixel.
Universal Painting Substance Designer Materials (or one of the channels color, ambient, specular, ect.) maybe feel nicer :-)

BIOWARE ARTIST GIVES ADVICE ON CREATING EPIC STRUCTURES IN 3D
For Rivet Busters, it was a group of four of us working on the project: Jati Darmawan, Clayton Chod, Garrett Stevens and I. However, we all divided up sections of the project so that we would all have clear ownership of who made what. When creating things on your own, you have to be smart about how much you can handle, what to cut, and where to optimize your workflow.
A workflow optimization that I made, was to utilize Unreal Engine’s layered material system. This allowed me to focus on the modeling, and once done all the bakes go straight in engine along with a material ID map and get plugged into a layered material, which essentially skips the whole texturing process once you have all of the master materials you need.
I took this process one step further on my latest personal project, Futuristic Hospital Sant Pau. With Substance Designer the same concepts apply in which you model something, give it a material ID map, and let your already set up materials do the texturing work for you. The difference here is that you are able to go into much more detail and do a lot more.

I think it is great to change material from one 3D App to another.
Not the settings of a material. But a texture map that show where is what material.
I don't mean color material render pass in multi pass renderings!!!
I mean texture maps with one color per material.
DDO, Substance Painter, 3D Max can use material Color Id Maps.
Unreal Engine 4 can use 3 Materials in a Color ID map.

Is it possible in 3D Coat to generate a Color ID Map?
I thinking about the paint brush that paint pbr paint in a extra layer too.
Setting a brush to added painting white in a extra layer while painting a pbr? The layer can I change when i change the pbr material.
Or setting brush to add a per brush defined color that is painting in one layer while pbr material painting.
Allways I mean One brush paint in 2 Layer. One for the material color (or more for specular, reflection ect.) AND another layer for Color ID Map.
My english is not so good.
Can you understand what i mean?

I am interest in scripting for 3D-Coat.
I am scripting for Cinema 4D in c.o.f.f.e.e. and Python.
Where can i get information about scripting in 3D-Coat?
What programming language is it in 3D-Coat?
Is it possible to write a texture maker script that read material paint informations and write it into a color ID map?

At the Update Zbrush 4R7 there is a 64 Bit Version!
Is there a chance to get a 64Bit Plugin?
The Plugin is shown in ZBrush.
But I get a Error after i choose what i want to do with the model.

At me 3D-Coat Applink install into the wrong folder!
In my "Pixologic\ZBrush 4R7\" folder was create a new folder "ZBrush 4" into this was "Zstartup" and "Zplugs".
Into this folder was the plugin.
After change folder Applink Zbrush 4R7 running :-)

Now I'm 3D-Coat owner
Same solved problem after update from 4.1 to 4.5!
After I change from 3D-Coat 4.1x to 4.5 there is a new Exchange folder in documents.
In the Plugin I must change to the new Exchange folder.
Start C4D with Administrator rights to save plugin settings!

I have found my problem :-)
At the first time I have change the Exchange-Folder!
I test a demo, and I want to delete the folder if i don't use 3D-Coat again...
I set it back to original folder: User\Documents\3D-CoatV4\Exchange
And it is starting with transfer object :-)

I am thinking about buy 3D-Coat for unsing it with C4D - R15.
But I have the same problems with AppLink :-(
The preferences .ini can't write.
Only if I run with Administrator rights there is no error window.
The ini file was create with save settings.
When 3D-Coat (DEMO V 4.1.17D CUDA) start comes the starting window and the demo windows for register.
I close both windows and 3D-Coat is empty :-(
I need 3D-Coat for my workflow and without the AppLink it is much less nice for me.
Is here anywhere who has soloution for the problem?

Hallo Ihr Lieben,
ich über lege meine Pipeline von C4D und ZBrush um 3D-Coat auszubauen.
ZBrush fürs Basic und Detail sculpting.
3D-Coat in erster Linie zum Painten. (Hab auch Photoshop und würde das App-Link nutzen um mal auszuweichen)
Aber 3D-Coat scheint schon eine gute Paint Ausstattung zu haben.
Ist es möglich Material von C4d zu 3D-Coat zu wechseln?
Ich meine gar nicht die Eigenschaften, sondern den mit dem Material bemalten Bereich?
In C4D wären die die Material-Tags auf dem Objekt, bzw deren Alphamaps die dazu führen dass das Material nur an bestimmten Bereichen am Objekt berechnet wird.
In 3D-Coat schätze ich das Material wird drauf gemalt und auch in solchen "Alpha"-Maps gespeichert.
Geht der Wechsel inclusive der Materialien?

Ich have some Kits with a lot of parts. More than 300 parts.
I have tought the Kit Bash Room does support the Kits.
Does the Name Kit Bash based on "Kit" like a set of parts?
