[Gradient Tool Point Bug]

Take a look at the video to see whats going on. Basically the point doesn't conform to the surface correctly. If anyone knows of a setting i have incorrectly set or a solution please let me know asap, this is a huge blocker for my workflow.

 

It only started happening yesterday too and I've been unable to figure out what causes it.

I'm having a problem with the brush tools in 3D Coat. As you can see in this gif, I can't paint a continuous smooth line over two different meshes. It seems like it only paints on the mesh the center dot is over, and doesn't overlap onto other meshes.

 

This makes it very difficult to paint smooth gradients across two meshes which almost defeat the purpose of 3d painting... Is there any way to change this behavior?
