I'm having a problem with pen input and dual displays where I have monitor 1 as my main display to the left and a wacom graphic display tablet as monitor 2 on the right. With 3D-Coat open and on the second screen, when I lift the pen away from the second screen 3D-Coat will snap the cursor to the top left of the display canvas / top left of monitor 1. On all other programs when the pen is lifted away from the screen the mouse cursor stays put right where the pen was lifted from the screen. Depending on the Desktop environment KDE, Gnome, Xfce sometimes this will cause an “Alt-Tab / Desktop overview / Hot corner activation” to occur.

I can confirm the crash when clicking on the pictures folder when trying to select a background image
libpng seems to be throwing the error here as well

If you are running ArchLinux you can install python38 from the AUR. This worked for me
This still doesn't solve the problem of linking directly to libpython3.8.so.1.0.

I have noticed that when switching to the Vox. Buildup tool the radius some times resets to 0. causing an out of memory Fatal Error if you try to sculpt/draw over a model rapidly.

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem.
Is the "Vox Clay" tool broken if you select the smallest sphere from the "Voxel Sculpting" page selection.
-
Is there a problem with .17 Its on the server "Link" but not posted.

Ok the VoxTree panel width is cutting off the icon
-
I think i found a bug. Sub / child volume's are missing there visibility icon
Steps to reproduce:
Open a new voxel sculpting object
select the split tool and split the volume
select the copy000 volume
select the split tool and split the copy000 volume
volume*_copy001 visibility icon is missing
changing the parent of copy001 to the root of the VoxTree makes the icon visible
This behavior can also be seen in the VoxTree after loading the Mannequin voxel sculpting preset

Ok I figured it out I had to change the shader on all layers to default in 4.1.00
Something is up with PicMat_Skin2 shader as soon as I touch it 3DC 4.1.02 crashes

Thank you Andrew for all your hard work
I am currently having a problem with this build. 3D-Coat DX or GL instant crashes when trying to open sculptures saved recently but not from an earlier revision of the sculpture. It could be just me or older version of 3DC can open corrupted files. I haven't had the time to test older builds. If anybody can test there older files to see if they have a problem loading because i'm not sure if I should log this to mantis.

Important info: If you find a resolved bug that was placed by you into mantis before then confirm and close it there, please.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I can't find the confirm button to close. This could be caused by an account with reporter credentials.

Please excuse me but, I have searched the forms and no one with a Fermi based video card is able to run 3D-Coat and try to voxel sculpt with CUDA on.

I'm building a dual xeon win7-64 box, and am undecided on the video card.
Would a GTX 285 2GB or ATI 5850 1GB be a better choice?
The benchmarks seem to favor the 5850, but if computer graphics are a different realm than gaming, possibly I'm not getting a clear picture?
Get the GTX 285
why = 2GB of ram. Every graphics program you have will love you for it.
Only reason to get the ATI card is for Direct X 11 games.
For myself I am waiting for the GF100 and hopefully it will have 2GB of ram.
