    I hope so, Messiah is like 3DC, it's a one man show with a few "helpers" here and there. Fori has put much work and love into Messiah. I love using it. I picked up the upgrade to 5 a few days after it was released.

    I do agree with your previous post, I too am still a little shocked. I just upgraded my 4 license to 5 in December. The great part is though, that we can get additional licenses (I'm planning for the future), and of course now Fori is selling a Linux/WINE version which I will gladly use, that alone is excellent in and of itself.

    Did you miss the note at the bottom of the page "**note: Users who purchased version 5 prior to this special opportunity, may receive a credit or refund of the difference in price between the equivalent version purchased, and this special (less any merchant or other applicable fees); depending on, and if the goal is met."

    In case you haven't seen the news, 3DRad is now completely free for commercial and non-commercial use.

    3DRad is a rapid application development environment for creating interactive 3d scenes and PC games. It was $159 until a couple of days ago and is now donationware - based on a model of donations to support new features :)

    We will not participate in SIGGRAPH 2009 because of I was rejected today in getting American visa.

    I was sure that I will get visa - I have enough source of income, I have invitation from SIGGRAPH, I have own flat in Kiev, wife and 3 children, so I can't stay in USA.

    But I was rejected without explanation - they spoken with me less then minute or so. They given me standard paper with "reason", but really I have not found actual reason there. Appelation is not possible. Is it random? Real shame and frustration. How is it possible?

    I can understand all if there is at least some small reason. But I really don't like something irrational and unreasonable.

    Negative: lost 3700$ (SIGGRAPH registration+visa request), one day of life, less belief in peoples

    Positive: Got one more week for family and 3D-Coat improvements instead of SIGGRAPH, additional 10000$ was not spent.

    Positive seems to be longer :P

    I am really sorry to hear this, that's a lot of money to waste because of government red-tape. The immigration and visas from the US today are driven by paranoia and such decisions seem to be random and irrational. Part of the price we are meant to accept in the war-on-whatever-it-is-at-the-moment. Stupidity if you ask me. I wouldn't loose your belief in people, people are fine. It's functionaries and moronic bureaucrats that are the problem...

  9. How do you claim the referral discount for v3?

    Congrats Andrew and everyone at 3D-Coat for the release of v3 - it was a lot of work but the program is great! :clapping:

    I just wanted to ask how to actually claim the discount from the referral program - I have earned enough to cover the upgrade cost from v2, but the discount doesn't appear when I try to purchase it. Am I missing some option to access the discount on the purchase page or does it require something else? Just wondering... :rolleyes:

    The updates to 3dBrush keep coming thick and fast and I am very impressed (and grateful) with all the new features that keep coming on a regular basis. I just wanted to suggested that it may be useful to initiate an email notification for registered users when a new update is posted. I don't mind checking in on the website occasionally, but it would be nice to get a notification when new versions are available. Is this possible?

    Please forgive me if this is already available and I have missed the option to subscribe :rolleyes:
