  1. I posted this elsewhere, and sent an email to support, but only 1 reply in my post here, and none yet from support after almost a day. I would just like this solved, because theres no reason it should be this difficult to upgrade a license.

So, i purchased a new license to update my perpetual 3DCoat software. The directions on the email tell me to copy some info that was on said email, but didnt tell me where to paste it. The person that replied to me on the forum told me to simply download the license from my account page on the site and paste it onto the 3dcoat file location. I did that, and nothing happened. I still get a message that the trial version has expired, and that it will run on learning mode.

Im completely lost as to what to do. im not prompted by 3dcoat itself to put the license anywhere specific, and the advice i was given doesnt do anything. can ANYONE please help me solve this?

Just drop the new 3DCoat.license file into the x:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\3DCoat directory. Be sure to rename the old one or archive it. If 3DCoat is already looking for the file in that location, it'll pick up the new license right away. Otherwise, it'll ask you for the license file, at which moment you can point the app to it.

Hm..i did this, but nothings happening when i open up the software. still says its on a trial period has expired. Also, its not pointing me to anything once i boot up the app. just gives me that "trial period has expired" message

  3. Hello. As the title explains, my issue is that there are seams the show as i paint with a flat color. I even tried the fill option, but even that doesnt seem to work (i may be doing something wrong since it only fills parts of the model). I have base grey albedo im painting over and there are no seams there, so it seems to be something to do w/ some settings i may not have enabled/disabled.

I tried painting in the UV texture editor around the edges and that does work, but its a rather tedious solution, and im wondering if there are any other options?
